When I relocated to Volusia County, I was a payoff person for a title company. I can't say that being a payoff person was an exciting line of work but I made it that way. I would talk to the loan officers every day sometimes several times a day and I got to know them. I shared their joy, anger, upset and victories! Yes we did it together.
One of my favorite Loan officers name was Kevin Fishback, a new loan officer in Kentucky, had to show him the ropes, you know getting his payoffs! He had a nice voice so it was always pleasant to talk to him.
I left the title company to get back into real estate and didn't really give Kevin a second thought!
A few months later I received a call, familiar voice. It was Kevin Fishback with that Barry White voice! He was going over the Granada Bridge in Ormond Beach, Florida and that he is looking at a photo of me in a magazine, if this is the Midori Miller that used to get my pay-offs call him he would love to hear from me! Guess what he moved here!
And then it all began........
When the opportunity arose for me to training real estate professionals again, I ran with it. Tailor making Real Estate Training requires lots of time and effort. For me it was important to build a team of affiliates to help Frey the cost for the company but the key was to have available to the agents, affiliates that matched the company's mission. People they felt comfortable with and confident in referring their customers to.
I called Kevin Fishback. It was that point I knew that he and I are going to be successful together, helping one another to achieve our dreams. Not only has he participated in all of my company training sessions but what I value the most, he is a very good friend.
Yesterday I was honored by him when he asked me to be on his radio show,"The Red Pill," the interview was "Motivation," an 8 minute opportunity to address the public. It aired live yesterday at 12:00 noon and will replay today at 3:00pm. I was soooooooo excited and honored.
I met a gentleman that I would be proud and honored if he joined the ActiveRain Community, several plugs for Century 21 Sundance Realty, Midori Miller's WOW Team, a thanks to my friend Julie, from the ActiveRain Community and a public plea to help Trevor Kott. So many messages in less than 8 minutes.
If you haven't contacted your sphere of influence recently do so, you reap what you sow and if you plant the seeds, and water them, you will be amazed that at the right time, your business will blossom.
Audio of interview coming soon......

Midori,
great post. Loved the talk show you wee great. I hope you are going to do another one soon. Have a great weekend
Midore
Your words are so true. All relationships particularly those that make up our sphere of influence are dependent only on the amount of effort that we put into them.
I am one to keep creating those sphere's...and bad at following up....I finally got out those "spring" cards we get from C21 preferred client club yesterday and have had them in my briefcase for 4 days!
But heck Midori....I'm having too much fun here! i needed this after the hectic boom the last few years! (making excuses)
Ana-It was so much fun and I can't wait to put the video together. Kevin has invited me back for another time so I hope that I will have that opportunity again. As we say, Buckle up for safety, my friend.
Ed-Thaks for stopping by! I agree I really value everyone that I know. I love my sphere and can never do what I do without them.
Sally-Good Deal! One of the best benefits of Century 21, that preferred client club, my broker is so generous that she splits the cost with the agents. I know you are having a good time here but you are working! It's good for all of us to have a way to network all together and have a good time at it! I am all about FUN!
Wow glad to see you are networking in Kentucky. Have a great day
Ben
Great..when are you going to have the video?
Neal-hopefully tomorrow and it's a video stream, happy to see you here!
Randy-I thought it was pretty cool and felt flattered, yes, today while it was playing on the radio I felt like a celebrity until I had to get my own refill of coffee. hehehe No, I felt really good...and proud. Thanks for commenting.
Wow Midori! How did I miss this post?
You are an angel!
