Reblogging has been going on for some time now..it did not originate with Activerain but it sure sometimes causes quite a stir. I personally love reblogging...I must not be the only one because now....

No doubt in my mind. I'm pleased when someone reBlogs one of my posts.
Shucks, I've reBlogged a number of my ActiveRain posts on my own blogs for a long time.
I opted out of reblogging. I have more than a few folks in town that would capitalize on my work and it made me uncomfortable. Personal choice.
Midori You already know I am with Chris. Hey maybe I will turn re-blogging on for all of my crappiest posts...now there is an idea - LOL
I still don't think it makes a difference...I could reblog my own post and get more juice. I just don't think it does anything at least for me.
The idea of "reblog" is that it allows others to quote you and give you proper attribution, while leaving an extended comment of your blog post on their blog. Unless it's a really short blog post, we break it in parts and our interface allows only one part to be included in blog. Backlink and attribution are automatically included.
Right now anyone can already take your whole work, but it's actually much harder to just quote a part, as we've been all though it school. We'd like to bring honest quoting to a broader audience of bloggers.

We can do that? And if so why..to update the post to the current time for those who my have missed it before? Just curious?
I'm still not sure especially after reading a few posts on it about when the person who reblogged showed up higher on Google than the original author. Guess I have more reading to do.
Good evening Ma'am, I have done some reblogging and will probably continue to do so.
I stilll don't get it so for now I just allow it and don't do it.
